This page provides historical and organizational information about CardioGraphics.

CardioGraphics is an Independent Diagnostic Testing Facility (IDTF), formerly known as an IPL, that has operated continuously for over thirteen years.  The federal agency, Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Studies (CMS), has approved CardioGraphics for the receipt of federal reimbursement funds.  This approval was given after CMS inspected CardioGraphics and found that it met federal IDTF standards for the performance of non-invasive cardiovascular studies.

Those standards are higher than the federal standards, if any, applied to hospital and clinics for the  performance of the same studies.  In addition to other maintenance, training and record-keeping obligations imposed by CMS, certain credentials are required of CardioGraphics' medical directors and clinical employees.  Our medical directors are required to have a certification in Cardiovascular Disease awarded by the American Board of Internal Medicine (or equivalent formal training and experience).  Our clinical employees are required to obtain Certified Cardiographic Technician (CCT) credentials from Cardiovascular Credentialing International (please see our CCI link on CardioGraphics' home page).

CardioGraphics now requires all new clinical Technologists to obtain CCT credentials within three months of employment.  Clinical Technicians are required to obtain their CCT credentials within six months of employment.

CardioGraphics also requires a minimum educational level for all new clinical Technologists.  Each applicant for a cardiac monitoring position with CardioGraphics is required to have at least a Bachelor of Science degree with a major in Nursing, Cardiovascular Technology, Exercise Physiology or another healthcare related field.

CardioGraphics' main office is located in Clackamas, Oregon.

CardioGraphics is owned and operated by HealthMark, Inc., an Oregon corporation.  HealthMark's Oregon state business identification number is 1071483-6.  Our federal tax identification number is 93-1272613.
